We have offered these cruises on the Matsukawa river since 1988, at the center of Toyama City.
This Matsukawa river is one of the Top 100 cherry blossom beauty spots in Japan.
It has 460 cherry trees on the riverbanks.
Not only in cherry blossom season but also throughout the year (except in winter), you can absolutely appeciate the amazing scenery from the boats.
Verdure, sunlight reflected on the water, fishes in the river, blue herons, kingfishers,
Sounds of water flowing, autumn leaves,etc
Very lovely nature welcomes you !!!
During the cruises, you would be absorbed in such rich nature althogh this is in a downtown.

Round trip from Funa bridge to the confluence of Matsukawa river and Itachigawa river

■Matsukawa Spring Cruise
(Scheduled for 2022/3/20 – 4/25 *We will be closed on Monday, April 25 this year.)
*During the period when the cherry blossoms are not in bloom (the definition of “in bloom”), normal rates will apply.

Babies ( 0-2 years of age ) : 1 baby per adult is Free

■Matsukawa History Cruise(Normal rates)
*Except during the flowering period from 3/20 to 4/25 (the definition of “in bloom”)

<Before the cherry blossoms begin to bloom, a limited number of cruises will be available.>
Confirmed scheduled cruise dates: March 19 (Sat.), 20 (Sun.), 21 (Mon.national holiday),26 (Sat.), 27 (Sun.)
Around 11:00, 13:00, 14:00, 15:00
* Basically, it operates on weekends and holidays.(After March 24, we will also operate on weekdays, subject to weather conditions.)
* The service will be cancelled in case of adverse conditions such as extremely low temperatures.
* When weather conditions are favorable, the first departure may be earlier and the last departure later.
* If there is a group reservation for a vessel other than the regular schedule, the reserved vessel will be given priority.

There will be no winter cruise this winter.
Information common to each period
* In the event of worsening weather conditions, rising water, breakdown of the vessel used, or other unavoidable circumstances, the cruise will be cancelled or suspended.
* Even if the weather is fine, there may be cases when the ship cannot be operated (or the start of operation is delayed).
(e.g., sudden weather recovery and the captain is unable to make arrangements and preparations in time, flooding of the pier and cleaning work is required, sudden deterioration of the weather is expected, illness of the captain, etc.)
* If there is a reservation for a vessel other than the regular schedule, the vessel with the reservation will be given priority in the vessel allocation process, and the sailing time may be irregular.
* The schedule is subject to change without notice depending on the spread of the new coronavirus. (For example, the Matsukawa History Cruise will be operated only on Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays.)

Audio Guide
The guide during the cruises is conducted by our experienced captains, who give a fantastic and insightful look into the history and culture of the area.
Although they cannot speak English, when the boat is occupied by only English speaking passengers we can offer the English version audio guide!!

We offer a discount ticket combined with one-day tram pass.
You can not only enjoy our cruise but also can hop-on hop-off trams on the whole current day.
This combination ticket is available only at the Dentetsu Toyama station on the 1st floor, from May 14th to November 30th.
(*Note:The Toyama Station tram north-south connection was opened on March 21, 2020, and you can take the Toyama Port Line!)
